My name is Beth Newman, and I'm dedicated to helping people of all
ages and backgrounds succeed.

Image is the belief we have about someone or something. Our impressions about
other people may be based on how they look, speak, or behave. A person's image
may consist of many factors, including clothing, grooming, tone of voice,
vocabulary, body language, and etiquette.

Image matters because people often make assumptions based on limited information. Studies reveal that one's appearance and the way in which he or she
carries himself or herself influence other people's perceptions of his or her trustworthiness, authority, and intelligence.
Image is important.

Through First Style, I work with young women, providing them with information that will transform and empower them as they grow into adulthood.
My articles have appeared in many local and online publication. In September, 2007, I launched Elegant, a little 'zine dedicated to fabulous living.
