FUNK THE RUNWAY (FTR) is dedicated to advancing people, who have the wholehearted desire to pursue their modeling careers. Our services are available for all female & male model categories: Full figured, Full Framed, Mature, Petite, small framed and standard; furthermore, FTR welcomes all nationalities. Our organization is designed to empower members through a series of educational seminars, fashion programs, field surveys and instruction workshops. FTR offers a wide array of support services that cultivate our constituents in the areas of demeanor, etiquette, modeling technique, self–confidence, self–esteem, positive mental attitude, presence and professionalism. These concentrated activities help members realize the inherent beauty & potential that lies within themselves and others. Our organization also utilizes the levels of MOD to professionally mark the progress of Novice & Professional models. The levels of MOD are quietly used by fashionistas worldwide to categorize the skill level, demeanor & education of models. It is strongly expected that all models that complete our Workshop Series would have successfully advanced to MOD level 5. (See SYLLABUS) While attending our course all models will work hands on with Industry professionals. Models will have the opportunity to work with the nation’s top photographers, fashion designers, stylist & agents. Also, models that complete the course will have a professional portfolio with agency referrals & course materials. We pride ourselves on being a national frontrunner of production in the fashion industry!!!
