I want to thank you personally for taking time to visit my site. I’m excited to share my work with you and showcase my passion for makeup—how it is an art and how it is the crucial element to photography.

Contrary to naysayers, makeup doesn’t cover up who you are or hide your imperfections; it is an art that human civilization has created to accentuate and convey the inner beauty we all have inside.

Makeup professionals who approach their job with a “one brush fits all” attitude are offensive to me. In my view, each client’s face is an individual, unique canvas. Special consideration is taken on my part with regards to your complexion, features and bone structure—all of which is God–given and truly makes you “you”.

But I don’t stop there! You and I will take time to consult on your personality, the event we’re preparing you for and what about you that we want to specifically accentuate. Preparing for a creative photo shoot? I’ll give you bold colors for a daring and exciting look. When preparing for a wedding or commitment ceremony to your special loved one, we will work as a team to artfully develop your appearance with subtle hues for an overall refined appearance.

About Kamilla Khanh–Minh

Kamilla believes that all people are beautiful – it only takes an extra touch to unveil the beauty that you possess. Kamilla is an experienced make–up artist and a stylist in the Seattle area, working with many photographers and fashion shows in the region. Her work has been displayed in the Annual Tet in Seattle fashion shows for the Vietnamese Lunar New year by a renowned designer, Thai Nguyen, with over 30 models in 2008's event. In addition her work was displayed in this year's 2008 Sea–Fair parade, and many community charity events.

In 2004, Kamilla was crowned Miss Vietnam Washington, and named Miss Congeniality for the Seattle–area universities pageant. Even so, Kamilla knows that the best beauty is the confidence you feel, not the beauty judged by others.

Our names are Kristina and Jen and we have been working in the make–up artistry industry for over ten years now. I started out doing make–up for friends and family weddings and special events and soon after, by word of mouth, I started doing make–up for others as well. Since, Kristina and I have worked for Magnolia's bridal doing make–up for the brides and their bridal party, we've also freelanced for weddings, photography shoots, advertisments, runway, we're doing the make–up for a local high school dance team and other events and special occassions. For large groups or bridal parties we come together and can get the job done in half the time. We work together very well.

I invest in all the highest quality makeup from Lancome, MAC, Nars, Smashbox and other top brands in the industry. Unlike most other make–up artists who buy kits or generic brand costmetics to save cost. This ultimately ends up making you look lackluster and dulling down the performance of the makeup.

We have a huge variety of shades, colors and textures to choose from. We are versatile and have experience in all looks from natural to dramatic and theatrical. I have been a professional makeup artist for nearly 4 years now. I have always had a passion for the beauty industry and it took wings when I began a makeup artistry class in the Bellevue area. After completing the class I went on to work with models and photographers that I had met and soon found steady work in the industry. I love creating personalized beauty solutions for all my guests and making sure that they are able to discover their own beauty.

I'm a make up artist with 8 years experience, recently adding the fashion Industry, Photo shoots, Fashion shows, Weddings, some theatre. I use high end products.

bio: Graduated from college in December of 2007, with a degree in Apparel Design and minor in Business Administration. I was recruited to work at Macy's as an Assistant Buyer, but due to a consolidation that position has expired. I have taken this opportunity to start my career as a Stylist. I specialize in men's clothing, but am very confident with women's apparel as well.
