40 plus years sewing experience.
Am able to construct most any garment from scratch, from your pattern or design – custom sewing – for women, children,&/or men(alterations only) of any stature.
No upholstery, drapes, doll clothes or toys.
Am very good at making mens' shirts...Pendleton, flannel, dress, western, etc.or casual jackets––western, rain, etc...

The items I make are solid, won't fall apart after a couple of washings; do not look like they are 'homemade', and I strive to make sure my 'clients' are happy with what they have requested me to make for them.

I have had a small sewing business for 10 years
right now I mostly do contract work
which means the customer supplies all items needed and the items are cut
and ready for production

I have one main contract, I relabel T–shirts for a small printing company

I have made custom wedding gowns , prom dresses etc

I also do some upholstery, and decor items

As for experience, in jobs I have had over the years I have made just
about everything you could name
swim wear, fleece, police uniforms, to tarps that cover 747s, tents, etc
I will admit that I am not very experienced in pattern making
I can make pattern if I have to.

I have over 20 years sewing just about everything, from bridal to leather. I prefer to work on creative projects, custom pieces or protoypes. however, I have done piecework type production, and would consider that.

I have a commercial straight stitch, a zig zag, a coverstitch, and a blind hemmer.
i have extensive experience in bridal,bustles, proper fitting, origianl hems on jeans, and custom alterations.

I charge an hourly rate for protypes, pattern making and adjustment, and various other projects. I charge per piece on most custom pieces, such as dresses or multiple identical items.

SKILLS: All kinds of embroidery and general sewing assignments. Very experienced with different stitching styles and traditions from around the world. Expect a prompt, pleasant and completely professional experience.
