I have over 15 years professional experience as theatrical designer/seamstress. I am highly skilled at craft work (millinery, shoe work, etc) and very experienced with non–traditional fabrics (fake fur, leather, vinyl, spandex, etc). I have my own work space at home that includes both home–use and industrial sewing machines and sergers.

Womenswear label, medium by me and him is a modern ready to wear line created for women with artistic backgrounds and interests. medium by me and him focuses on developing attention–grabbing ways of emphasizing mundane garment details simultaneously incorporating unusual fibers and superfluities.

Before designing exclusively for medium by me and him, Keya Harper won several awards including, “Most Creative Collection Award” from Bloomingdales in September 2007. Keya studied fashion design at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she improved upon her eight years of sewing ability and started building teaching potential. Throughout her four years in college she tutored over one hundred students on basic and advanced construction.

The third collaboration of Keya and Terence was inspired by their journey abroad to France and London. After returning to the states she took on positions as an in house seamstress. Since, she has been featured and quoted in Philadelphia Daily News Online and her sole collection displayed on The Art Institute of Philadelphia virtual tour.

The New Jersey native also has extensive background in the Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey fashion trade, ranging from participating in and producing fashion shows/clubs, and tutoring aspiring college level fashion designers. As well as instructing emerging designers at West Philadelphia Community High School, University of Pennsylvania, Black Lily Inc., all after leaving Nicole Miller in 2006. Presently, Terence is still working toward achieving his Bachelors Degree.
