Pricing on custom orders can really vary, but they come from a base rate of $15/hour of work. I am a fast but detail oriented worker, and my charges are honest and fair.

I do this part time, but am flexible and for most alterations, can ensure a turn around of 1 week, but if something is needed more urgently, I'm sure I can get it done. Custom orders should allow 1 to 2 weeks.

As for ability, I have been sewing my entire life. I have a bachelors degree in fashion design, and have worked for a high end custom/bespoke women's wear company as well as an online sewing community, where I taught sewing through photograph/video how tos, in addition to designing patterns and sewing samples.

All work is done in a clean, cat–free, and smoke–free studio, with special attention to detail. Also, although I'd like to be good at everything, I'm not. If there is something I think is out of my ability, I will not take the job.

Central University of Ecuador: BA – Business Administration

I have sewn extensively for others, myself, and children. Most recently I completed a job for a local PR firm holding a promotional event in France for an organization from South Africa. They needed 34 garments (aprons) made from hand dyed fabric they provided. The fabric was from South Africa. They also provided dimensions and a deadline – two days. They were pleased with the finished product.

I also have done alterations for local residents and sewn from Vogue patterns for a neighbor. I completed several items for her for a cruise she was taking.

I have sewn clothing, curtains, pillows, patchwork items, and much more. I began sewing when I was 11, and learned on a Singer treddle machine. I am now 60. I do not use commercial machines. I have two Bachelor's and an MS in Art Therapy. I have worked in Education and the Mental Health field, as well as exhibited artwork in art shows in Kansas City, MO, Emporia, KS and Santa Fe, NM.
