Brian Yungblut opened his 1st studio in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada after 7 years as a photo retouching artist. A self taught Photographer/Artist the majority of his work is fashion related. Now living in his home town of St. Catharines, Ontario, Brian stills spends every March teaching the Fashion Module to the students at "The Western Academy of Photography". Some of his winter months are spent in Manhattan, N.Y. All of his photographic work is non traditional and exhibits a painterly flair. Brian is also well known for his photographic studies of female nudes and erotica. His Award Winning multimedia images have satisfied a growing client base in the Fashion and Commercial sectors while he is locally sought out for commissioned portraits

With over 20 years of Industry experience my style combines ‘old school’ photography with the digital world. Whether shooting for a large corporation in an exotic location or an individual in their home, photography for me is still about making every frame count.

Careful planning and attention to detail are of paramount importance in creating images with mood and atmosphere. For this reason I work almost exclusively on location, this includes London, New York, Paris and Milan. For a different environment I have made 4 trips to Africa shooting in the heart of Masai Mara. In addition, South America has also been a great inspiration whether shooting in the rainforest and beaches of Brazil or against the stunning mountains and ruins of Bolivia and Peru.
