I love all things creative – I am a writer and a teacher and I play the guitar. I am hoping to expand my creative horizons through my photography.

I love nature shots and can spend a day outdoors with my digital camera (I love not having to change rolls of film). When I shoot people I tend to love close–ups (mostly from family photos where this is important) and am working on a project currently that is expanding my work with a variety of models and styles.

I have a small studio in New Britain in a renovated factory. There are lots of nice locations within the building (and on the roof) and I have shot over 150 models there in the year–plus I have been there.

I used to work with film and am pretty good in a dark room, but these days I am working with a number of computer programs that are pretty wild and I love the creative possibilities that the technology affords.

Still, my style is fairly simple and my strengths are probably my eye for a good shot and my understanding of composition rather than my technical expertise which I am still developing.

I am currently working on a several body painting/body art projects, experimenting with different media and styles. I have previously worked with several dancers and I am always looking for new ideas and new ways to create interesting and quality images.
