Rhônya Holman, born and raised in Minas Gerais, Brazil, moved to New York City 10 years ago where she pursued her creative side as a designer of high–end custom made jewelry. What began as a hobby would turn into her career. In the early days, Rhônya designed her own work from her apartment, where her friends and neighbors would select from a range of necklaces, bracelets and earrings, all inspired by art she grew up with in Brazil. Word of mouth spread quickly. As her line of jewelry became more popular, Rhônya enrolled in a top jewelry design school in Manhattan to hone her skills. Using a variety of stones, beads and crystal imported from around the world, Rhônya crafted some of her most chic pieces during this period. She wore her necklaces and bracelets at trendy Manhattan parties and restaurants, whose patrons recognized her talents and placed orders for custom pieces. This led to a new line of high end jewelry made from silver and gold with semi–precious stones pearls and gemstones. During the past several years, Bella Bohemian has evolved into a thriving business, whose clients continue to express deep admiration for Rhônya and for her simple yet exotic work, which is handcrafted to perfection.

Asked what inspires her most, Rhônya said, "I love the excitement of New York City, its colorful people, restaurants, bars and nightlife.
