I have always possessed deep love and appreciation for artistic beauty and fashion, and it’s a tremendous source of fulfillment for me to find my designs becoming so well received.

I love to use brilliant color combinations in my designs… combinations and designs which I prefer to be unique. Color creates an attitude for the person wearing it. Certain stones create attitude as well. Jewelry, I feel, should be a perfect complement to a person’s style, and that person should project a feeling of comfort with what they are wearing.

There are the times when we need to break through the barriers of “comfort” and shine like there’s no tomorrow –– and the point is to live with that possibility in mind, freely express who we are and shine, comfortably. “

Karla Refojo, the creator of Tulku, is a painter, sculptor and meditator. She travels regularly to Nepal where she works with Newari and Tibetan master craftsmen to broaden her knowledge and connection with the source of her inspiration.

As part of the ancient lineage of artists whose path in Life is to create sacred objects and share them with the world, Karla’s intention with Tulku is to work with other such artists to provide people with sacred art to wear.

These amulets are imbued with the power inherent in tradtions where there is no separation between pure spirituality and the act of creation. Through wearing these amulets, that power supports, inspires, and protects us on our own particular Paths in Life.

Sharon A. Williams is a jewelry designer in Los Angeles, Ca. Sharon designs and hand makes one–of–a kind pieces of jewelry for her national and international clientele, all of which are unique in appearance and texture. She creates her jewelry from what she envisions rather than following particular styles and trends.

Her lifelong artistic talents have been evident in the many years she managed art galleries that evolved into a long lasting relationship with the American Indian culture. She divides her time between two passions: jewelry designing and as a private art dealer in paintings and American Indian art.

Travels to exotic and distant lands are inspiration for her striking jewelry designs – pieces that make an impact on the observer as well as the wearer. She makes a statement about the sheer beauty of gems and minerals, corals and shells, vintage crystals, silver and gold pieces amongst a myriad of numerous treasures that mirror the customs and cultures of their origin.
