I am the Owner & Creative Director of Miya–Sama Menswear. Although my dream is to become a mega–successful menswear designer, my first love is in art.

Started sewing when I could reach the pedals! Sold a bit on ebay, but have more fun on myspace =) I love to network & meet new people. Do good things for my community & grow as an artist/designer =) I am a stay @ home mom to two little girls, 2 & 4 years of age. They keep me pretty busy all day, so I am a crafter by night. I have been married now to my wonderful & supportive husband, who also sacrafices for when it's crunch time! Jenjoy fabrics that are usually vintage or hard to find fabric, some imported, ebay. I use a terrific Phaff straight stitch machine and a Phaff coverlock 5 thread serger. The seams in my garments are professoinally strong. I pride myself with taking extra time and effort to make sure that all my creations are of the highest quality!

Recently graduating with my Associate of Arts degree in Accessory design from the <u>Art Institute of Portland</u> has made me realize just what accessories are in this world. If what they say is true, accessories do make an outfit. I want my accessories to stand out, be unique, fun, funky, and fresh.It seems as if old fashions are always recycled, I want my designs to be new, with new concepts. I am very much inspired by color and shape. Art of all kinds inspires me, and I can derive a concept from just about everything. Keeping a sketchbook handy is a must for me as I am always thinking of designs while doing just about anything. Also interested in graphic and apparel design.

Tara Sauvage is a handbag, belt and fashion accessories designer with ten years experience in the industry.

Fashion Design– Graham is an honors graduate from the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York City. He holds a BFA Fashion Design, and a minor in Art History. Graham has several years design experience with high end women’s wear companies including Ginny H. and Uhera. His skills include draping, pattern making, C.A.D., fabric knowledge, color theory, and fashion history.

Fashion Styling– Graham has worked with some of New York’s best photographers and models. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Hamptons Magazine, New York Magazine, and on the covers of Yoga International. Graham is also available to style individuals for special events such as weddings.

Personal Shopping– Graham has created quite a network in the Seattle retail arena and is pleased to put together beautiful ensembles for his clients who have too much on their plate to spend hours trying on clothes. At a preliminary consultation Graham will take measurements, walk through your existing wardrobe to get a better understanding of your personal style, and consult you on current trends in the market.
