Named after the original title given to Hollywood Boulevard, Prospect Denim, like early Prospect Boulevard, can be characterized as having that laid back, refined Southern California attitude. A casual attitude is then mixed with an air of sexiness evoked by the early glamour of the silver screen. Prospect Denim jeans are crafted from the finest American and Japanese fabrics, with close attention to vintage inspired details, hand washes and hand forged buttons and rivets. Even our antique brass zipper has been taken from the original zipper design that was introduced at the World's Fair in the 1920's. Prospect Denim evokes a look and feel that can best be likened to the sense of nostalgia and appreciation experienced when one unexpectedly, yet pleasantly, stumbles across a vintage roadster restored to its pristine glory. With our attention to fit, our discerning eye for detail, and our uncompromising ideals, Prospect truly and proudly lives up to the standard set by its very name. It is surely destined to become a modern classic that will appeal to even the most discriminating of denim aficionados.

Yochi Ben was born and raised in Israel where the passion for fashion and design became a lifelong inspiration and dream.
She studied fashion design and was vividly envisioning her work as a designer, when fate struck and Yochi was very seriously injured in a car accident. It seemed she was given a great talent and then suddenly the ability to use her gift was stripped from her, as the functionality of her right hand was severely compromised.
With Yochi’s fashion and design dreams shattered, seemingly forever, she pursued other opportunities in marketing achieving great success. However, her inner passions always took her back to dreaming of designing unforgettable dresses.
On arriving in the United States in 2004, she didn't expect this country to welcome her with an overwhelming flow of inspiration. Throwing caution to the wind, she decided to launch her own fashion line which became an overnight and overwhelming success.
Today, Yochi Ben's showroom is Hollywood's best kept secret for celebrities and those who look for that unique dress that makes them feel special and makes them stand out in a crowded room of beautiful dresses. Yochi has been featured in many magazines and was recently discovered as the hot new designer whose dresses are a "must have”.

Hello! My name is Shay and I have been sewing since age 17. I studied fashion design at Chaffey College in CA and fell in love working with knits and swimwear. In 2002 I began designing swimwear and lingerie and sold my designs locally in Southern Cali and Las Vegas.

I wanted a change so I have been designing tops and look forward to creating and selling my designs on Esty.com. All items are handmade from stratch, using my own patterns. Items are made in super limited editions or as one–of–a–kind items.

I'm currently working on new items to add to my store such as hats, hoodies, tops, and wallets. I'm always trying to challenge myself and make greatness!

My work is girly yet bold, dark yet frilly, spunky and fun, corky, dorky, and always repsents who I am as a person :)

Welcome to DonDeMarco! Where classic style and sophisticated edge are stitched together to create the brand that is internationally known, nationally recognized, and locally respected. That brand is DonDeMarco.

Harold Toomer and JuMond Norman met while attending a Southern California high school in the late 1990s. Even then, Harold and JuMond were driven, charismatic, and stylish individuals. These commonalities fostered a friendship, that would later become the foundation of a cohesive partnership.

After graduating high school they each pursued their education. Harold studied Fashion Design and Graphic Design. While JuMond focused on Fashion Design. The two were ready to launch their clothing lines...separately. It was only after many closed doors and sharing their frustrations one day at a favorite barbershop, did the two become a pair. On May 5, 2003, DonDeMarco clothing was born.

Inspired by the diversity of Los Angeles their parents' sense of style and esteemed designers before them. Together the duo is the creative and business force behind the rivaled fashion house that is...DonDeMarco.

Continuously featured in fashion shows and boutiques throughout the Southwest. Nearly five years later, DonDeMarco remains committed to merging signature pieces with classic style.

My name is, Houstina Summers a fasion designer from Los Angeles. My line of accessories and clothing are uniquely handmade design pieces that fulfill the need to find new meanings in every day objects and transform them into heavenly ones. The collection is constantly nourishing from contemporary art and fashion trends. My first collection is based on the concept of ribbons and bows, re signifying the use of buttons, lace, crochet, pins, threads, etc. to create fun, wearable, unique accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, belts, earrings, brooches, rings, bags and clothing.

The name of my company is, Cowgirlheaven which was officially founded in May 2006 by a humble graphic design student, Houstina Summers. Born September 1, 1981 in Los Angeles, California to parent Lola Cain. The second oldest girl of four, including two sisters and one brother Houston former Capitol Recording artist. Raised in the colorful streets of L.A, she had a very rich upbringing laying a foundation strong amongst family, religion, and education. As a girl, Houstina was very active in church, social activities, sports, and culinary delight. She trained as an artist in the areas of illustration, painting, and seamstress. In her Mothers home the walls and shelves were blessed with painting and sculptures from her Belizean Grandfather P. Cain. Growing up around the rhyme vibrations of reggae and the island taste of black soup drove her anxiety to create. Birthing “the Gift Collection” which launched in late 2007. Houstina’s passion for fashion is a complete combinations of influences by her personal experiences, ranging from the ROOTS of old island fashion exemplified by her mother and older ladies of the church; the SPIRITS of fashion illustrated by her aunts, and the LIFE of fashion that she personally created using all other influences in a melting pot.
**Seeking stylist within the Los Angeles area to collaborate with on a consignment basis for fashion, film projects. Trade for prints/demo reels featuring my work. I will let you use my designs in exchange for photos and credits.

"Too Many Tumblers of Whiskey Would Make You A Lil' Bit Tipsy!"

(#4133)   Michael Kuluva

...a biography

Tumbler & Tipsy is the new model of chic fashion in the modern world: a green fashion label that produces hand–made, one–of–a–kind items from reconstructed vintage fabrics and clothing. With one eye towards the environment and the economy, a finger on the pulse of the current industry, and a playful sense of humor, Tumbler & Tipsy looks to be the forerunning innovator of today's fashion scene.

The eco fashion label was founded in 2009 by Michael Kuluva, an unlikely fashion entrepreneur who got his start as a professional figure skater. Born in Montana and raised in Los Angeles, Kuluva immediately took to the sport at a young age after his first visit to an ice skating rink with his parents. Lessons followed, as did a ten year stint as an amateur figure skater, becoming a Junior Olympian in 1998. He joined the U.S. Figure Skating Team in 2001 and skated professionally for seven years following that, appearing in over 20 shows around the world, including a part as Dash in the Disney On Ice show of The Incredibles. No stranger to media attention and glamour, Kuluva appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, French Television, Univision and Regis and Kelly Live, as well as making an appearance in the MGM/Sony "Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold" motion picture.

Along the way, however, Michael had maintained a passion for the creativity of fashion. From the beginning, he'd worked with designers on his skating costumes. He knitted scarves for friends. He spent all his extra money on clothes and was continually fascinated by the ever–changing fashion world. Michael Kuluva owns a large designer collection that he has collected from all over the world while he was traveling with international figure skating tours, "I collect clothes as they are pieces of art in my eyes!" Kuluva states. So, in 2008, he hung up his skates and took up thread and a sewing needle, making a professional transition that might have seemed strange to some, but for Kuluva was "completely natural."

His first official foray into the fashion world was nothing short of a minor innovation: the "Tipsy Tie." Comprised of simply a choice piece of fabric hung on a luxurious chain, the Tipsy Tie has gone on to become Tumbler & Tipsy's signature item, as well as their best–seller so far. Explains Michael, "For me, ties were always hard to wear. I never could tie them, I just wanted to put one on every day." Unlike an ordinary tie, you can simply hang a Tipsy Tie around your neck, and mix–and–match fabrics as you see fit. To Kuluva, it was a revelation: "It's much better than having that one plain tie that I have to screw around with, take it off, put it on and loosen it. This is just much more comfortable." The Tipsy Tie has gone on to be featured on MTV, Perez Hilton, Curve Magazine, VH1 and many other mainstream publications.

Kuluva would next look to apply that same aesthetic, casual yet classy, comfortable yet fashionable, dressy and playful, to luxury reconstructed vintage clothing. He was aware of other reconstructed clothing companies on the market, but according to him, "none of them were really doing what I was looking for. I like the classy style that you can dress up, dress down, mix with other items, and not be restricted to one style. And I don't want to see everybody wearing mainstream clothing." Furthermore, Kuluva was looking for true singularity with his clothing. "I'm inspired by anybody doing anything one–of–a–kind. I don't want to mass produce my line. I want everything to be different."

His final inspirations came through a chance discovery from his miniature English Bulldog Cooper Kuluva and of an old English poem concerning the age–old practice of whiskey consumption. Appropriately, today Michael can't quite remember the name of the poem or where he found it, but from it emerged his new company's name, as well as their playful slogan: "Too many tumblers of whiskey might make you a bit tipsy!" British colloquialisms and slightly drunken sensibilities from a time now long gone have become an essential part of the playful sense of humor Kuluva brings to all his products.

Constructing Tumbler & Tipsy's distinctive line of clothing from scratch has required, for Kuluva, a completely hands–on approach to which he remains committed. He first sources the material from vintage and luxury shops, swap meets and assorted vendors. His criteria is strict, "I never buy two of the same garment, so you'll never see the same embellishment. Plus, no tears, stains or smells." Without even so much as a sewing machine, Kuluva then stitches, cuts and assembles each item by hand.

The result is a line of clothing that's distinctive but never repetitive, one that looks towards the future with a heavy debt to the past and is ecologically recycled. Tumbler & Tipsy now offers men and women's clothing in small, medium and large sizes, including vests, shirts, blouses and blazers, each emblazoned with the gothic style T & T logo and the occasional slogan. Each item is both comfortable and versatile, ready for wear for a casual night out or a flashy fashion event. And, each carries Kuluva's promise that you won't find anything like it anywhere else, not even in the rest of Tumbler & Tipsy's catalog.

The Tumbler and Tipsy label has been featured interntionally in over 100 publications in it's first two debut collections and is still growing fast upon the masses worldwide. For the future, Kuluva is wary of dramatic expansion, preferring an exclusive distribution to keep the clothing firmly within his hands–on approach. However, he's in this now for the long run: "As long as there are old vintage clothes I can work with, I can't see myself stopping."

Environmentally friendly, stylish and comfortable, Tumbler & Tipsy is the leading way of the modern "Ready to Wear" fashion industry.
